A very brief introduction to eigenvalue computations with FreeFem

This is a supplement to my mini-course at Inverse and Spectral Problems for (Non)-Local Operators Summer School in Leipzig. I however strongly believe that everyone should be able to compute numerically the eigenvalues of some simple boundary value problems --- at the very least to get a rough idea how they behave depending on the geometry/parameters of the problem you are studying. Fortunately, now one can do it without knowing any numerical analysis and (almost) any programming.

If you are interested in this, please download the following two files, and read the pdf which contains (I hope!) full instructions on what to do.

For convenience, I also include the direct link to FreeFem website.
